These are the questions people ask us in the chat every day, answered without fine print. If yours is not here, ask: a human answers.
The payment changes when an input changes: the term, the yearly mileage, the amount due at signing or your credit tier. Card payments are shown for 740+ credit, and the bank assigns the final rate. We tell you about any change up front, before you go to the dealership.
Dealers have volume targets, and cars go cheaper at the end of a period. We watch for those windows and lock the terms in advance, so you do not have to catch them yourself.
The terms you see on the site are the final terms of the deal. The payment, the amount due at signing, the term, the mileage, taxes and required fees do not grow after booking, before signing or when you meet the dealer. The service fee is shown separately before you pay it, and it starts our work on the deal you chose. Depending on the car and the dealership, Hunter Lease may also receive compensation from the selling dealer, and it is never added to the terms already shown to you. That compensation is disclosed in the brokerage agreement; its size is a commercial term between us and the dealer and is not published.
We offer an alternative: the same car or the closest one on terms, repriced before you sign anything. If there is no suitable alternative, the service fee comes back in full.
Yes, in full and on request, any time before you sign the vehicle contract at the dealership. If the bank declines your application, the fee comes back in full. Once you sign, the fee is earned and it does not reduce the price of the car.
Every card is a specific car from a dealer’s inventory, and we re-sync dealer stock regularly. Toyota and Lexus cars that are still on the way are marked as preorders, 7 to 14 days.
Yes. Sales tax for your ZIP is in the monthly payment, and the dealer, bank and government fees are part of the amount due at signing shown on the card. Our service fee is shown separately and never added to the car price.
Before we submit your application we confirm the specific VIN, so the terms are priced on that exact car and not on the model in general. The VIN appears in your deal at the booking stage, not on the public card.
Until one of two dates, both visible on the card: the next repricing date for the deal and the deadline of the manufacturer rebate. Whichever comes first is the limit.
No. You lock the numbers online, and at the dealer you sign and pick up the car. If the final price turns out even a cent higher, your service fee comes back.
Pickup at the authorized dealer that has the car always works: you see its name and address in your account as soon as your pickup is scheduled. Some dealers also deliver to your home in their area. Ask in the chat, and if the dealer delivers your car, we set it up with them and tell you the terms, including any cost, before you sign.
Message us in the chat, we answer 9 to 7 California time. Or just look at the deals: the numbers on the cards already include every fee.
